Look at the complete formulation
All skincare contains chemical substances, including products made with plant oils. Natural and synthetic origin alone cannot tell you whether an ingredient is suitable. What matters is the ingredient’s function, concentration, the complete formula and how the product is used.
Read the current ingredient list and avoid specific substances if you have a diagnosed allergy. Broad lists of “bad chemicals” are not a substitute for understanding a product.

Texture, fragrance preferences and daily habits all affect which products feel right for you. A product should have a clear role in your routine. Claims about environmental impact should describe a specific, supported feature rather than relying on the word “natural”.
Mina Ingerslev’s approach to natural skincare

People with a fragrance allergy need to avoid the fragrance substances relevant to their allergy, regardless of origin. This is the reason why we have products with and without fragrance. So people with sensitive skin can still enjoy high-quality products without fragrance, while people who love fragrances and a true spa atmosphere can get products with wonderful scents.
